The place has the best vibing atmosphere.Relaxing, peaceful and nice soft gentle music.the customer service is amazing.James, thank you for your expertise, service and patience and gentle personality.I would reconmend anyone coming to Hobart to pass through this bar.Nice views too.I felt like I was on another planet.Happy customer.

Just went for a drink in the Story Bar on a cold evening in Hobart and got the best service you’ll get in Australia. The barman Ollie couldn’t do enough for us and talked us through all the beers and wines. What a gent. Definitely will be back

I come here everytime when I am in Hobart, I like a quiet atmosphere in bars, somewhere to relax and reset and have a nice whiskey neat to top it off, with friendly staff especially the bar manager, great personality and bar etiquette. Situated in a lovely spot right next to the dock. I haven't eaten here yet, but must be rather good it's always full in restaurant, when I am there.

You can also come here for lunch — it’s probably quieter and you can enjoy the views. The cider-battered fish was ultra crispy and excellent 💥 The chips were good but probably fell short of the excellence of the fish. The house-smoked salmon had lovely texture and flavour to it. And the house salad was the perfect counterpoint. The service was also friendly and prompt — a great way to have lunch in Hobart 👏

Great venue for a few drinks! Tried most of the cocktails before heading next door for dinner. Live music. Wonderful service. Great atmosphere! Mood lighting! Loved it!
