Cannot understand how they got their rating on google. Atmosphere is wanting, staff bordering unfriendly and cocktail was disappointing . Was keen to try their cocktails based on ratings but bailed. Saturday evening at 1800. Next please

My wife and I have frequented society several times. For our own evenings out or part of a group for the drag night bingo evenings. Every time we have been very impressed with not only the food and cocktails but also topped up with outstanding friendly and professional service.

Very happy I got to this bar! Just around the corner from the Salamanca strip, it’s out of the ‘busy’ and potentially messy night scene. When walking in, it was a very spacious bar and beautiful decor that felt quite luxurious and industrial at the same time… The drinks were quick, the menu had some fun looking drinks and it was laid out well, and the service was awesome - I got greeted straight away. The shelves were amazing, so many spirits available!! Both cocktails I had were perfect for what I was feeling, and how they ‘should’ taste. That’s always nice (haha). It was a chill evening so got to chat to the bartenders about some other places in Hobart to visit and they had great spots that suited me. I also got to meet another lovely human sitting at the bar, so Society attracts nice people (bonus!). Would recommend popping in and having a drink here!

Elegant bespoke bar with an impressive collection of spirits. Cosy, classy vibes, excellent service, and the most delicious baked brie. Also, on a Wednesday night, fun trivia and delicious tacos/nachos. Highly recommend.
