To be honest this is the best bar I have ever been to. You will find: Epic, adorable, funny and lovely people here... If you are ever around, don't miss to grab an Aperol- Spritz, they serve the best one ever.

We found this place by accident a few days after it opened and instantly loved the vibe. It's a small wine bar that will definitely fill a niche in Newcastle. After being given the quiet word about a boutique low key performance and record release we made sure we were there. If you're after a couple of quality drinks before dinner or after work with chill and knowledgeable staff you should definitely check out the Poet.

Popped in over the weekend for a drink. Loved the cosy ambience, the super friendly staff and the tasty drinks! Fascinating to know that some places still play vinyl records…and what a selection! Will be back soon.
