We came across this little Spanish gem and the bocadillos blew us away 😋 honestly, I’d argue they were even better than the ones I enjoyed in Spain. The bread was perfect, the fillings full-flavour, and the service and atmosphere added to the experience. A rare find in Melbourne.

Sunday lunch. Sardines, lentil soup and the meat balls. Sardines were nice, but guess little skill to make. The tomato bread worked well with the dish The lentils soup was very nice, but for a deli would have expected a better quality chorizo to be used. Meet balls tasteless. Poor dish The service was great Maybe we will go back and try something else as a second chance

Tried the Jamon iberico roll. Simple and delicious. Best to eat on a clean palate to appreciate the flavour. Not much meat in it for the price point but as a treat every now and then it’s worth it.

Really simple and nice food. Warm and friendly service despite being really busy. Bread is so fresh and crisp, pair well with the hot tapas. Reasonably priced too.

I went to La Central Spanish Deli and Bodega and it was the most beautiful experience ever. The staff were so friendly and kind! The food was outstanding, highly recommend the anchovies and tabla mixta board. Definitely go when you are in South Melbourne! Also I bought these giant beans for ages and found them here!
