Polite staff, but unfortunately the overall experience was very disappointing. Cocktails tasted like tap water, there was no air conditioning (we were sweating in our seats), and food service was extremely slow. Entrées arrived nearly 1.5 hours after ordering, well after the mains, with no communication about delays or unavailable items. We were also charged $12 for gluten-free bread, which felt excessive—especially for coeliacs who don’t have an alternative. Given the experience, it’s difficult to recommend. $169 for two people...

A perfect dinner for two here at HMBL Tapas Co. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening out. The service was exceptional, with our waitress being attentive and friendly. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal in a great setting. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Arrived at this tiny tapas place with a severe case of hangry. We opted for the Taste Me set menu. We ordered a beer and cocktail from their EXTENSIVE list of cocktails. Drinks arrived pronto, cocktail was beautifully presented, beer was local. The food then started to arrive, hot and tasty from a kitchen that is barely bigger than a cupboard! Well done. Great dining experience from start to end.

My Fiance and I checked out HMBL last night for the first time. We didn't have a booking, though they were nice enough to fit us in at a little bar styled seating area at the end of the petite venue. Everything was amazing from start to finish, from the service, the cocktails, to every dish on the 'Tease Me' menu. They were also nice enough to swap out the chicken wings for the Hummus as per request. The stand out for us was the Chicken and Chorizo Paella and could have easily eaten another serving of that one. The course left us full, satisfied and ready to book again for a bigger group of friends.

Lovely dining experience and very friendly staff. We got only the vegan dishes which did not limit us at all! There was plenty for us to eat! The meatballs were very good but my favourites would have to be the potatoes bravas and the hummus. We got cocktails, gin and tonics, lots of share plates, and dessert for the three of us, and the total was around $160. My friends and I will definitely be coming back.
