Really enjoyed dinner and drinks! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding - can't wait to go back and try more of the menu and cocktails. The spicy peach margarita was so good - a must try!

A high end restaurant with delicious food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Our waiter was fantastic, we were settling in for a selfie when our waiter stepped in and offered to take the photo for us.

Wow.. a beautiful restaurant! Service was amazing, food was just wow 👌 They have done a fabulous job of creating this restaurant with decor etc - it's a treat just to be there! Shared some photos of food. The drink is a non-alcoholic Mojito! So good (not on menu..just ask)

Tasty Mediterranean cuisine in Edge Hill. My friend and I chose to visit Gigi Restaurant to sample the dishes from their Golden Hour menu. We shared several small plates and enjoyed every single one of them. The flavors were vibrant, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was quite pleasant. If you're looking for top-notch and genuinely flavorful Mediterranean dishes, I strongly suggest you visit Gigi.

Ok, call me a wanker, but I'm well travelled, I know good food and my husband is a fussy bastard......and to be fair, I can be pretty critical too. When we first moved to Cairns about 17 years ago, we'd lived in cities with Red Hat, Mitchelin Star restaurants. We asked friends, what is the absolute best restaurant in Cairns. It was unanimously Tamarind at the Casino. Sorry, yawn. We tried other highly recommend places but we were left with a big fine dining shaped hole in our souls. We did Christmas last year at the Copper Bar, that was starting to hit the mark we were looking for. We RARELY went back to a restaurant twice. The food gods looked down upon us and sent us Gigi at Edge Hill. I'm confident in that claim, because they put Gigi walking distance from our house! I'm torn between singing their praises from the mountain tops and saving them for just the people who knew.....but that would be greedy and its my civic duty to bring this gastronomical wizardry to the people. Honestly, any dish on the menu is a moment. You take a taste and you close your eyes and just....just....just...mmmmmmmmm. There are no words. I'm going to add photos of the dishes we have tried from both our visits. Another incredibly cool thing was, the menu, first visit, was full of amazingly put-together dishes, with flavour complexities that just blew the mind. 2nd visit, they we brave enough to have done a wee menu refresh already, and bravo, just another window into this amazing Chefs creativity. If you haven't had.oysters hoped with tanqueray gin and picketed watermelon, you haven't lived. The aesthetic is mmmmmmmmmm lean back in the subdued tones, hats off to the decorator. Earth, mushroom pink, rose gold, cream, cusions, comfy seats, beautiful tropical green mountains to gaze at as you leisurely sip your Peach Spritz (highly recommend) and respect the attention to detail, right down to the colour of the cocktail garnish pins. Of course, food and atmosphere mean nothing if staff are rubbish, and the staff here honour the work done by the chef and the designer by completing the package perfectly. Incredibly professional, approachable, accommodating, gorgeous, scrummy, fun, huggable. If you're feeling decadent, get a caviar bumb and an ice cold vodka shot in to you, that'll let you know youre alive!! Gigi has finally filled the un wanky, high end dining hole Cairns had been waiting for, for decades. As I go to write this next sentence, I'm thinking about where I've eaten........Egypt Vietnam Cambodia Iceland Belgium Jordon Thailand Malaysia Vanuatu Sweden Norway Finland......that's all I can remember for now.......Gigi is hands down the best place I've eaten at, ever. Think I'm putting it on, try it out, come tell me what you didn't like.....I'll wait
