After enjoying their catering at several events, I finally made it into the restaurantโand it did not disappoint. The interior is stylish and inviting, perfectly complemented by a warm and friendly team of staff. They offer an impressive selection of Sri Lankan classics that are authentic and bursting with flavor. I can honestly say this is the best Sri Lankan food Iโve ever had in Australia. The entrees were standout, the mains were excellent, and the cocktails were the perfect accompaniment to the bold spices. Hats off to the chef! .. ๐คฉ A absolute must-visit for any food enthusiast. I can't recommend it highly enough!
We went there for dinner on a weekday and had a great experience. The restaurant was clean and modern looking, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely fantastic. A great place to try authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in Parramatta. Highly recommended!
Yummy food and a really lovely atmosphere. The hoppers were soft, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The spice level was just right, not too spicy, but perfectly balanced and true to the cuisine. Weโll definitely be coming back again!
They serve true Sri Lankan cuisine. In fact the only true Sri Lankan restaurant around Parramatta. Food has the right texture and spices are just right in intensity and mix. A clear difference from Indian cuisine. Their food takes you to the island of Sri Lanka, at the center of the Indian ocean. You can ask them to tone down on chillies to make the dish mild if that's what you prefer. It's a small place and gets crowded. Though you can sit outdoors, the surrounding area has a different vibe. They also service liquor which is a plus. Some patience is expected as freshly cooked meals take time. A must drop in place if you enjoy the type of cuisine while visiting Parramatta around lunch or dinner time.
After seeing some good reviews online we were keen to try Ceylonias Sri Lankan cuisine and ended up very impressed. We tried the hot butter prawns which were delicious and generous, one of the best prawn dishes I've ever had. In a similar vein the crab curry had a vibrant coconut sauce and with 2 whole crabs we ended up having to take some home. Last but not least we also had a lamb curry with some hoppers which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Service was friendly and attentive. Was nice to see the words out, we went for lunch on a Thursday and by the time we left they looked full.
